Job Description

As an Economics Affairs Officer in the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), you will play a vital role in shaping inclusive and sustainable development across the continent. 🌍 Your responsibilities will include conducting research on land, agricultural transformation, and food security, along with providing policy recommendations to intergovernmental bodies. You will support member states with technical cooperation projects and represent ECA in various meetings, all while advocating for economic strategies that promote climate resilience and food security. This position requires a Master’s degree in economics or a related field, complemented by at least seven years of relevant experience.
