Job Description

The Consultant will play a key role in developing guidance products aimed at enhancing legal frameworks on carbon markets within the context of climate change under the Montevideo Programme V. Based at the United Nations Complex in Gigiri, Nairobi, this 6-month position involves conducting a situational analysis and drafting essential guidance documents to support countries in implementing effective carbon market laws. Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree in environmental law or a related field, along with at least seven years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English is required, and strong research, writing, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. 🌍📜
