Job Description

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is offering an exciting opportunity for an internship in New York for 3 months 🌍. As an intern, you’ll be actively involved in supporting our mission to promote and protect human rights globally. Your role will include researching international human rights trends, assisting in organizing meetings, and helping to draft important documents and reports ✍️. We are seeking candidates who are enrolled in or have completed a relevant graduate or undergraduate program, preferably with strong research, communication, and analytical skills 📚. A solid command of English is required, and knowledge of additional UN languages is a plus. Please note that internships are unpaid, and arrangements for travel and living costs are the responsibility of the interns or their sponsoring institutions. Successful candidates should discuss their specific visa requirements before accepting the internship offer.
