Job Description

The Office of the United Nations in Nairobi (UNON) is seeking a motivated intern for the Special Coordinator for Development in the Sahel, based in Dakar, Senegal for a duration of 6 months. 🌍 This role involves enhancing the visibility and outreach of the UN’s integrated strategy for the Sahel through engaging digital communication, graphic design, and knowledge management. You’ll be creating appealing visual content, managing social media platforms, and supporting the dissemination of knowledge products to promote the Sahel agenda globally. This experience will provide you with valuable insight into UN communication processes and collaborative efforts aimed at facilitating security, governance, and development in the region. Applicants should have a background in communication, graphic design, or related fields, with proficiency in French and English. Please note that internships are not paid, and all costs related to travel, visas, and living arrangements are the responsibility of the intern or their sponsoring institution.
