Job Description

The Human Rights Officer position is based in the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Georgetown, Guyana. In this role, you will collaborate with the UN Resident Coordinator and the Caribbean Regional Representative, focusing on integrating human rights into UN programs and strategies, conducting assessments, and advising on capacity-building for national institutions. You will engage with international human rights mechanisms, promote advocacy, and offer training to strengthen human rights practices. This position demands professionalism, strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a commitment to gender equality. A Master’s degree and five years of experience in human rights are required. Fluency in English is essential. 🌍🤝👩‍⚖️
