IMEO Senior Communications Expert

Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Communications Expert for the UN Environment Programme’s International Methane Emissions Observatory (IMEO) in Paris, France, for a 12-month engagement 🌍. In this crucial role, you will coordinate the communications team, develop and implement strategies to boost IMEO’s visibility, manage digital communications, and engage with external stakeholders 🌱. You will also oversee social media activities, plan impactful advocacy initiatives, and contribute to the launch of essential reports 🔍. We are looking for a candidate with a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in communications or public relations, ideally with a focus on climate change 🌡️. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.
