The United Nations is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join us as an Intern for Security Institutions in the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) Section. 🌍 This unpaid internship can be conducted flexibly—either remotely, in a hybrid model, or in-person at the UN premises in New York. The internship lasts between 3 to 6 months, with responsibilities including coordinating the development of the DDR Information Management System, conducting analyses, and creating various technical documentation. Ideal candidates should be enrolled in or have completed a degree in IT or a related field and possess strong analytical skills. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional UN languages is a plus.
