Job Description
The Information Systems Officer position is situated within the Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) Programme at the United Nations Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Lusaka, Zambia, reporting to the ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for East and Southern Africa. This role involves providing technical support to National Customs Services and Project Teams, managing projects for system development and implementation, and creating user documentation. You will also enhance existing systems, provide user support, develop training materials, and ensure data security. Ideal candidates should hold a master’s degree in a relevant field and have at least five years of experience in information systems, particularly in customs digitalization. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other UN languages is a plus. 🌍💻✨
