Job Description

The Legal Officer position is situated in the Office of the Focal Point for Delisting, a key aspect of the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs within the United Nations. In this role, you will work closely with the Focal Point for Delisting under the guidance of the Chief of the Subsidiary Organs Branch, contributing to the creation of legal documents, reports, and essential analyses related to Security Council sanctions. You will review legal materials, engage with petitioners, provide legal advice, and assist in conducting legal research. This position requires strong analytical skills, a Master’s degree in law, and at least five years of relevant experience.
