Local Carbon Markets Consultant (Kafue Sugar project )

Job Description

We’re looking for a local consultant for a 3-month project in Zambia to pilot the A6.4 Sustainable Development (SD) tool on a 40 MW bagasse-based cogeneration plant at the Kafue Sugar project. Your role will involve conducting assessments, preparing reports on best practices, and delivering presentations about lessons learned. You’ll closely engage with relevant stakeholders and ensure that the project aligns with the principles of sustainable development. To qualify, you should have an advanced degree in environmental fields, experience in carbon markets, and a knack for assessing sustainable development impacts. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of local languages is a plus. 🌿⚡📊
