Local Consultant – Associate Electrical Engineer (Solar Design & Installation for ODPP & Kenya Prisons)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Consultant for the PLEAD II Programme to oversee the implementation of solar power systems across various justice sector institutions in Kenya. 🌞 You will be responsible for conducting site assessments, ensuring high-quality installations, and providing technical advice, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders involved. Your goal will be to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of solar projects, contributing to the UNODC’s mission in strengthening the rule of law and improving access to justice. The role is home-based with travel to PLEAD II focal counties, requiring approximately 80 working days from August 25, 2025, to February 28, 2026.
