Local Consultant – Building Services Electrical Engineer (Solar Design & Installation for Justice Sector Agencies)

Job Description

As a Consultant for the implementation of solar projects within the UNODC’s PLEAD II Programme, you will oversee the installation and commissioning of solar systems at various facilities in Kenya’s justice sector. Your key responsibilities include preparing detailed mission reports to track progress, coordinating with technical experts and national stakeholders, and ensuring that all solar installations meet quality standards. This position is home-based with travel to designated counties and spans from August 25, 2025, to February 28, 2026, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to enhancing access to justice through renewable energy solutions. 🌞✨ To qualify, you will need a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and fluency in English; knowledge of French is a bonus. 🚀
