Localization and Climate Governance Advisor Consultant (Home Based)

Job Description

We are looking for a committed consultant to join the Local2030 Coalition Secretariat, working from home for 11 months. 🌍 Under the guidance of the Head of the Secretariat, you’ll help drive local climate action by hosting consultations and dialogues, preparing an impactful report for COP30, coordinating a high-level event during COP30, and building partnerships with Portuguese-speaking countries to support localization efforts. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, gathering insights, and ensuring that local perspectives influence global discussions. Ideal candidates should possess an advanced degree in relevant fields, at least seven years of experience in sustainable development, and strong report drafting skills. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
