Job Description

The Logistics Officer position is based in the Logistics Division of the Office of Supply Chain Management within the Department of Operational Support. This role is essential for orchestrating end-to-end supply chain operations, providing guidance on logistics, monitoring transport and support services, and ensuring the effective execution of plans for peacekeeping missions. Responsibilities include developing logistics strategies, managing operations for the transportation of personnel and cargo, and coordinating with various UN agencies to ensure seamless operations. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required, alongside at least five years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
