Job Description

The NBSAP Expert Consultant will play a crucial role in enhancing the implementation of the China Trust Fund Project across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region 🌍. This position involves organizing regional workshops and high-level events to support the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF) initiatives while collaborating closely with UNEP and various stakeholders 🤝. Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance to countries, preparing essential documents, and ensuring alignment with UNEP’s environmental goals 🌱. The consultant will work remotely and should possess a relevant master’s degree along with at least five years of professional experience in biodiversity and environmental governance 🌿. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication in this role.
