Job Description
The United Nations is seeking a Political Affairs Officer 🌍 for the Middle East Zone Free of Nuclear Weapons and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction (MEU) in New York. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Chief of Unit to develop a legally binding treaty aimed at establishing a Middle East zone free from nuclear and other mass destruction weapons. Your responsibilities will include analyzing political information, monitoring regional developments, and engaging with various stakeholders to effectively support coordination and policy efforts. Candidates must hold an advanced degree in relevant fields, have at least five years of experience in political science or international relations, and exhibit strong communication skills.
