The Department of Peace Operations (DPO) is seeking a Senior Legal Officer to provide expert advice on rule of law issues within United Nations peace operations. This role involves supporting justice and corrections services, ensuring effective legal frameworks, and fostering collaboration with various entities to strengthen criminal justice systems. You will guide teams, conduct research, and represent the organization in international settings, while also working to influence policy and facilitate reforms. A Master’s degree in law and at least ten years of experience in the legal field are required, along with fluency in English.
