Technical Support Consultant – PAF Chile
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Consultant to provide essential scientific assistance in preparing the “Preliminary Report” for Law 21.455 in Chile, focusing on climate change mitigation strategies. Your role will include conducting documentary research, drafting scientific texts, and closely following up on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) proposals to ensure alignment with the ECLP text. You will analyze current environmental frameworks and thematic reports for COP30 while coordinating effectively with various stakeholders involved in climate action. This home-based position, with periodic in-person engagements, aims to enhance Chile’s climate commitments through robust scientific evidence and interdisciplinary collaboration. 🌍📊🌱 You will need a Master’s or PhD in a related field and experience in project management and climate policies. Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English are essential for success in this role. The work duration is 8 months, and we’re excited for you to join us on this vital mission!
