Writer and Content Creator Consultant

Job Description

Join the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as a consultant and help shape impactful editorial content that elevates environmental awareness and supports our communication strategies 🌍✍️. Based in Nairobi for 6 months, you will collaborate closely with our Chief of Content and UNEP Lead Editor to create engaging stories and materials for digital platforms, while ensuring adherence to UNEP’s editorial standards. We are looking for someone with a master’s degree in journalism or a related field, alongside at least 10 years of experience in writing and communication. A solid understanding of climate change and environmental issues is a plus. Fluency in English is required, with French being an advantage 🌱.
