Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Macro-Economic Analyst to contribute to the preliminary macro-budgets evaluation of Mauritania’s updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 2.0). This role involves analyzing economic and financial implications of climate change policies to support the formulation of NDC 3.0, which aims to reduce emissions significantly by 2030. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders, conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments, and making actionable recommendations to enhance the macroeconomic framework. The position is based in Nouakchott, Mauritania, and requires a part-time commitment. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in relevant fields, extensive experience in macroeconomic analysis, and proficiency in French, with knowledge of Arabic and English as a plus. 🌍📊📈
