Job Description

As a national expert in mitigation, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and enhancing Mauritania’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 2.0) to better prepare for NDC 3.0. Your main tasks will include coordinating project activities, analyzing progress, and developing recommendations for climate actions between now and 2035 while working closely with key stakeholders. You will support the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development and collaborate with various experts to ensure an effective assessment and a comprehensive final report, contributing significantly to the national climate strategy. This position is part-time and based in Nouakchott, Mauritania. 🌍📊💼
