Job Description

The United Nations is seeking a Climate Finance Specialist (Lead Author) to lead the creation of comprehensive guidelines aimed at helping developing countries implement effective loss and damage strategies related to climate change 🌍. This part-time, remote role will involve drafting key chapters on financing mechanisms, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring strategies while ensuring alignment with international climate goals. You will also compile a policy brief summary of the guide, collaborate with co-authors, and contribute to innovative financing solutions 🌱. A Master’s degree in Climate Finance or similar, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience, is required, alongside fluency in English.
